of the high oxidation-reduction potential (over 650 millivolts
at 20 ppm, free available chlorine), of hypochlor,
the kill on most pathogens is instantaneous. There is also less
opportunity for chloramine formation, because of the continuous
riplenishment of fresh hypochlorus acid. |
